On what legal basis do we collect your information?
The legal basis for processing your data is based on our legitimate interest, or your specific consent, that we will have requested at the point the information was initially provided, therefore we will not store, process or transfer your data outside the parties detailed above unless we have an appropriate lawful reason to do so. Unless we are precluded from doing so by law, you have the right to remove your consent at any time by contacting us and requesting that processing of your details be restricted or deleted. What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you enquire about our services. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
How will we store information about you?
We store your information locally (UK) in the form of email contact lists and with third party contact relation management (CRM), bulk email and accounting cloud services. Information held by these cloud services is stored outside of the EU.
How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you to process your enquiry, manage your account and, if you agree, to email you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you. Elsey Adcock Design will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside Elsey Adcock Design. In processing your enquiry, we may send your details to, and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.
How long will we store information about you?
We keep your information for our normal business operations (completing contracts, billing etc.) and will retain it for a period of 2 years after any completed contract, unless you object to this and request removal.
We would like to send you information about products and services of which may be of interest to you. This may include contact by email, telephone and direct mail. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email here or write to us at the address below. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. We will supply your data free of charge and within 1 month of receipt of your request. Under some circumstances we will charge an administration fee of £30. For example, if we receive repeated requests for the same data.
Requests for deletion
You can request that we delete your information from our systems at any time. We will delete the information as soon as we can, but within 1 month of receipt of your request. Request deletion by email here or write to us at the address below.
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. All visitor tracking is anonymous.
